HORSE DETAILS
This pattern is for a lovely realistic horse with a sweet face and bay colouring.
UNICORN AND PEGASUS DETAILS
This Expansion Pack includes all the modifications for the Horse pattern required to crochet a Unicorn, Pegasus or Alicorn (winged Unicorn).
The elegant wings are a combination of sturdy and decorative, as they're stiff enough to stand up by themselves, while still looking delicate with the feathered edge. This pattern also includes bonus instructions for making a rainbow-coloured mane and tail!
DETAILS FOR BOTH PATTERNS
Yarn: worsted weight yarn:
- Horse: much less than 1 skein in brown and black or other horse colours of your choice, plus a small amount of white for the blaze (optional)
- Unicorn/Pegasus: much less than 1 skein of yarn in white and a contrast colour of your choice (or make it all in white, if you prefer)
Hook: US E / 3.5mm
Additional info: In addition to realistic shaping and detailed assembly instructions, these patterns includes two amazing new techniques to make a really special mane and tail:
- The mane is thick and full, and the strands are attached neatly and firmly.
- The tail hangs beautifully with no knots or visible attachment points.
Both techniques require no additional materials and are explained in full in the Horse pattern, with lots of step-by-step photos so you can make a perfect horse, unicorn or pegasus!
