An original crochet amigurumi Dimetrodon pattern from the dinosaur range by June Gilbank.
Dimetrodon was a small, sail-backed carnivore with legs that sprawled out to the sides. It was only about 13 ft long, but was a top predator in the Permian period. Dimetrodon is properly called a pelycosaur - it lived before the time of the true dinosaurs.
Yarn: worsted weight yarn (the dimetrodon pictured uses Lion Brand Vanna's Choice yarn)
Hook: US E / 3.5mm
Size: approx 8.5″ long
Eyes: 10mm
