BotaniCAL roundup
This extended 6-week CAL was a BotaniCAL including all my patterns that fit the botanic theme (flowers, plants, fruits etc):
For October, the Ravelry group have decided to have two CALs: the main Accessory-Along, and a bonus Halloween CAL. (If you’d like to take part in one – or both! – see the end of this post for more details.)
(For speed, I just give credit with participants’ Ravelry usernames.)

Aren’t they all lovely? I hope this roundup will inspire you to try a little crocheted embellishing too – one tiny flower only takes minutes to make and, as you can see, adds fun or style to all kinds of things…
October CALs
Join us in one or both of the crochet-alongs this month. PlanetJune Accessories are ideal choices if you’re looking for special handmade Christmas presents, or a treat for yourself:
…or, whip up something fun in time for Halloween:
By the way, the last image in the Accessories photo above – the Frosty Windows Scarf – will be a new donationware pattern – look out for it later today tomorrow 😉
If you’d like to crochet up something from the PlanetJune Accessories range and/or something for Halloween, there’s a warm welcome waiting for you in the PlanetJune group on Ravelry! Click through and you’ll find the details for each CAL in its own thread 🙂

I am so glad the botanical CAL happened this fall because participating got me started making my bobble trees! I have completed three – and each one is better than the last! It is a great pattern for practicing crochet. And the trees are beautiful. I totally love them.
I am creating a fiber forest for my elves to play in this winter and the bobble trees will be front and center!
