Since I give all my creatures away, sometimes to young children, I didn't use pipe cleaners or the plastic eyes but rather stuffed the legs and tail and then sewed them in position and made black yarn eyes. I particularly liked that June indicated where to mark the top of the head and the position of the legs. That made assembly easier. The pattern was easy to follow, many helpful illustrations, as always.
