The gecko is the second PlanetJune pattern that I have tried. The body is quick and easy but I highly recommend using scrap yarn or stitch markers to keep track of your "top" and the rows where later you will place the legs. Now i will admit the legs took a few tries to get the hang of. I followed the suggestion of increasing hte size by one stictch and that did seem to help. I did not use pipe cleaners as i wanted this to be safe for all ages.
He turned out so cute that my son laid claim to him before he was even completed! I have since done one other and have had great compliments on it.
