Kids LOVE these! I've made the hedgehog and squirrel from this pattern group, and they are adorable! Although I am a "seasoned" crocheter, I think these patterns are easy enough for those with less experience. The hedgehog has two spine sections, and if you sew the top spine to the head, but leave an opening along the bottom edge, you can slip your finger in and use it like a puppet, which my daughter and her friends do with the hedgehogs I've made for them. The squirrel also works up easy, just be sure to attach the tail securely and up high enough on the body so that it "stands up", like in the picture. These take me about 5+ hours to make one fuzzy creature each.
