I'm quite new to crochet and amigurumi, so I was happy that this pattern was well written and easy to follow. The fuzzy yarn made it a bit of a challenge, but June's tips on the website helped a lot. This most important tip was probably the one about making sure the work was well lit. I also made a couple of June's Fuzzballs to hone my skills before starting on the lamb. The pattern has two versions, one for thin core and one for thick core yarn. I found it a little difficult to decide which was appropriate for my yarn, but ended up choosing correctly for the thin core pattern. I was very happy with the finished product. It is cute posed like in the photos, but is also soft and floppy enough to make a gorgeous toy for my niece. I had to make some small adjustments to the face shaping method to work with my chosen set of safety eyes. Overall a very good pattern that I will come back to again for future handmade gifts. Recommended.
