I fell in love with the photo of this bunny, but after a few weeks of not finding the right fuzzy yarn I gave up on novelty yarn - I bought two shades of natural alpaca yarn and started on the pattern. Oh, what a lovely result! Because the yarn isn't fuzzy, the pattern details really shine. This pattern, like all of June's patterns, is well-written and easy to follow. I used June's safety eyes in the recommended size and weighted the body with a small bag of poly-pellets (tied in a piece of pantyhose so they wouldn't escape). The resulting ami is just adorable. I haven't made the chicks yet - still searching for the right yarn - but I look forward to making those and completing the group!
