This pattern creates a triangular-shaped shawl, works from the top down, and has a curved top edge. Initially I had to focus to get the foundation rows set up (i.e., rows 1-7), but the 2-row repeat was quickly memorized, and it practically stitched itself :) I rarely have long stretches of time to crochet, so I liked that it paired nicely with stop-and-go stitching.
