This was my first introduction to non-amigurumi crochet. The instructions were clear and helpful. Due to inexperience, I found the first few rows a bit difficult to find the correct chain spaces, but once I got into the rhythm of the pattern it was much easier. The stitch pattern is beautiful, and comes out really well after blocking. I also love the way you can just keep going until you get to the desired size, without worrying about a pattern repeat that goes over several rows.
