When I saw these cactus collection, I knew I had to make it right away! It looked so real! This cactus garden is a perfect gift for those who have brown-thumbs but would like a house plant- like my dad. With four different styles of cacti, this cactus garden has enough variety to keep even the most easily distracted crocheter (like me) engaged. The moon cactus (the one with the red top) is so cool! I used to have a cactus like this when I was a kid. I wondered how June came up with the perfect shape for it. The answer is in her blog post "Disastrous Prototypes" on September 23, 2010. Finding the right eye-lash/fun fur yarn combo for the fuzzy cactus is a challenge and an opportunity to get creative. I made my pot multi-colored.
