I purchased the 2nd dinosaur set and this was the first pattern I worked up. It's a great pattern that works up quick and easy with clear instructions and pictures. The pictures are especially helpful when putting the pieces together. I made it for my daughter who loves the PBS show Dinosaur Train which stars a pteranodon family. She was ecstatic and immediately asked for a whole family of them. The pattern worked up so well that I think I just might experiment with hook sizes and yarn weights and fulfill her request.
