An original crochet amigurumi Alpaca pattern by June Gilbank.

Yarn: worsted weight yarn in any natural colour (brown, cream, black, beige, etc). Alpaca yarn adds to the realism, but is not required!

Hook: US E / 3.5mm

Size: approx 8″ long by 8.5" tall

(Note: the dark brown alpaca in these pictures is smaller as it was made using handspun alpaca yarn, which was finer than the worsted weight yarn recommended for the pattern)
