An original crochet amigurumi teddy bear pattern by June Gilbank.
Pattern makes either of the teddy bears shown, depending on the type of yarn used.
Yarn: an eyelash yarn (yarn advice is given in pattern; Bernat Baby Lash and Red Heart Foxy were used to make the sample bears in the picture)
Hook: US H / 5mm
Size: Finished size will vary depending on yarn used; sample bears are 8″ (brown bear) and 10.5″ (pink bear) tall as seated in pictures.
Don't forget to buy eyes for your bears:
Eye size: 10-12mm, depending on the thickness of the yarn you use. The sample brown bear used 10mm eyes and pink bear used 12mm eyes. If in doubt, go with 12mm. Buy eyes here!
