An original crochet amigurumi Hippo pattern from the AfricAmi range by June Gilbank.

Yarn: bulky weight yarn in grey

Hook: US G7 / 4.5mm

Size: approx 6″ long

Option: Use worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5mm hook for a smaller hippo

Eye size: 9mm (or use 8mm eyes if you make them with worsted weight yarn instead of bulky weight)
